  • I visited The Root about a week ago for a new cut and color. I wear short hair so its hard to find someone who can give a good haircut. I was very pleased with Emily B who made me feel right at home and gave great advice about the colors i should use. I was overall very happy about my experience there and have had lots of compliments on the color and how healthy my hair looks along with a great shine. I left The Root thinking i would definitely be coming back just because of the great cut and color i received. I am in the business of Hospitality and its the little things that set businesses apart from others. Today i received a thank you note in the mail, thanking me for the business and saying how nice it was to meet me. I would consider this a "little thing" This salon is in the business of taking care of its customers and taking the step to sit down and send a card, might seem like an old idea but IT MADE MY DAY!!! I can not sing enough praises about the staff there. Thanks
