  • I haven't been a big fan of Moon Valley in the past because I often get the car salesman pressure to buy ficus trees when I've gone. We received a gift card so we went looking for two trees for our new back yard here. I don't recall the guy's name but after convincing him we actually didn't want a ficus we found some beautiful magnolias but decided to go with the smaller size and prepay to get them shipped from Glendale to this location on the following Monday. Come Monday the trees were not delivered (I had to "ok" them before my landscaper was picking them up Tuesday morning). I was offered two larger magnolias on hand for no extra fee but they were burnt to a crisp. Thankfully, John Uselton provided great customer service and we were able to get the trees we wanted in the end. The 2 other salesmen we worked with were more interested in making a sale than actually providing information (or being knowledgeable) about the different options and helping us find the right trees for our yard. Thank goodness for John!
