Just bought a headboard and frame 6 months ago, the bed frame collapsed when someone started to get on the bed. Called Ashley to to use the manufacturers warrenty and was told they would send someone out there to make sure it was not our fault because usually it is. Told me to call my extended warranty that I had bought for $400.00 good for 5 years and file a claim before they could even use my manufacturers warrenty, so I did. They brought me the pieces and took the old broken parts off and they told me to sign for the extended warrenty, I said no because it was the manufacturers warranty. The office called me proceeded to argue with me, told me the guy I talked to was wrong and they were going to take the bed all apart again if I didn't sign. I was already without a bed for one week waiting for them. So we signed and now if I want to have an extended warranty on my bed from again I have to pay for it all over again for another 5 years. Ashley furniture does not work in integrity, do not buy from them. Their furniture is expensive and falls apart. Bad bad company to deal with. They are not going to make it right but I am not stopping with this, I will go to upper management on this one.
