In a competitive market where professionals and independent contractors alike fight for your business, you'd think quality customer service would be a top priority. I sent the same email to multiple companies and 99% of them had no issue providing me with a quick and reasonable estimate. The message contained a lot of detailed information, compiled into a brief and easy-to-read email. Two days later (long after I've already secured a guaranteed rate from a competitor), Pittsburgh Movers finally got back to me without any information other than a phone number to call. Lame.
Now, I'd love to give 1-star and move on. However, as important as customer service is... it isn't the only thing that matters, and they very well may be terrific at the labor portion of the job. So I feel a 3-star review is fair, with a note to potential clients that this grade does not include a review on price or actual labor. When searching, be sure to negotiate any prices given to you - as most companies will lower their estimates and guarantee the rate if pushed hard enough. Happy hunting.
