| - Awful, awful place. I had my first lease through them and it was a decent enough experience I thought I'd go back to them for a second car when the first lease expired. Thing is, I moved to Los Angeles in the meantime. However, since it was where I previously leased from and I enjoyed the experience I decided to go back... well, that was mistake number one. Spoke to multiple salesmen through the duration, all who said different things. Finally find one who seems competent so I get his cell to deal with him directly. Turns out he is new, has no clue what means to be a salesmen and just has one of the senior guys doing all the talking for him. Long story short, they offered me a price/deal on turning in my expiring lease for a new one that I thought was worth the drive back to Phoenix. After we agree on a car, number, date, etc. I decide to make the 600 mile drive excited for me new car. Well, when I get there none of the numbers they promised me are what I'm seeing. They want significantly more and other things they didn't mention. Imagine my spot, you just drove 600 miles on good faith with someone you've already done business with... they're now trying to force a different deal on you that isn't anything what you were promised for making the drive. After sticking my ground and sticking with the original numbers as much as possible... one older, stereotypical salesman (we all know the type) comes at me and says unfortunately, this is the lowest number we can do BUT if you accept right now then I'll throw in free service on the lease... now it is a few months later, my cars needs service but it isn't included in my lease agreement. Now, after driving 600 miles for a deal that was offered to me... I was stuck paying WAY more than promised, almost $100 more monthly, which is even more than my previous lease which was a nicer and higher MSRP car, but we want what we want. And to top it off, I am being forced to pay service on a lease out of pocket after being promised I wouldn't, nor will they do anything to fix it. Plus, if you're on their call list they will harass you weekly... in conclusion, right Honda is the epitome of a bad car dealership. All those ideas of pushy, rude salesman that you've been engrained seems to be their hiring template. They went from having a loyal, lifetime customer; someone willing to drive 600 miles solely to do business with them, to someone who wrote their first ever yelp review to warn you to stay away.
Right Honda, couldn't be more wrong...
