  • Shortly before Christmas I started a search to get my son window tinting for his car for a gift. Despite the abundance of Groupon deals throughout the city, I knew that there are a lot of flakey people out there. Plus, my son's car is black so it really needed quality even as I have a budget too. I started my search on Yelp where I sent inquiries to higher-rated tint companies. A few responded but I was particularly struck by DC Auto's response since it was the owner, Dave, who replied promptly. I asked a ton of questions and not all cost-related. He indulged all my questions, educated me on the different tints. Then I went down to the showroom and it was beautiful! Dave took the time to show me the tints--even though he staff member was happy to show me too--and understood my budget as well. Long story short I opted for the ceramic coat and when my son had his tint installed he was thrilled--and that's saying a lot from a 20 year old. If you're considering getting your car tinted and want high quality and mom-and-pop owners who appreciate their customers (or prospects), I'd encourage you to visit Dave. They were accommodating, professional, friendly, and competent and it's my pleasure to make this review without any incentive other than being impressed by their service. No wonder they've been around for years and years!
