Stopped here for lunch before going to a Purim party at the Jewish Community Center. I arrived shortly after it opened and was seated right away. My waitress was very friendly and helpful in describing the menu options.
Today they were featuring Sunday brunch and they had other items listed as specials on the menu for that reason. I was originally going to get the Reuben with potato pancakes and a side of two eggs but when she told me it was quite large I decided on something smaller. I ended up ordering a hamburger with portabello mushrooms, lettuce, and tomato. It comes with your choice of side of French fries, coleslaw, or potato salad. If you want sweet potato fries then you will pay a slight upcharge for them.
I got my food fairly quickly and was glad it wasn't too large since I was planning on getting a dessert at the Purim party. Both the burger and coleslaw were good. It was prepared to my request. Nothing outstanding about it but still made for a decent lunch. I happened to notice someone who had ordered a spicy chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and he told me it was indeed worthwhile.
I saw on the menu that they have Prantl's burnt almond torte as one of their desserts. Good to know for a future visit.
Definitely would recommend coming on a Sunday since you get free parking at those meters and would like to try their brunch on a future visit.
