It is indeed back from the road. You have to follow the road between the used car lot and the convenience store.
Let's talk about food first:
The pretzel bites are good, but a tad expensive. The Honey Mustard dipping sauce is crazy AMAZING. The Hop Sauce is pretty tasty too, but the Honey Mustard is just wow, wow, wow.
We had the fish tacos. There is very little breading on the fish so it is not very crunchy. If you like fish, this is likely a feature :)
We had the Romano PIzza and the 412. The Romano was pretty tasty. The 412 was okay. The potatoes were a little too chunky and the pork lardons were a little too thick.
The Cheese Plate was perhaps the hidden gem. 3 nice chunks of cheese (a gouda, a blue cheese and something sharp), thin bread sticks, olives, and sopressata. The amusing part was when we asked what the meat was we got blank stares and "ummms" until I supplied name choice ( they had a sandwich with sopressata on it so I figured it was a likely choice).
The beers were pretty tasty. I went for the Rye Rebellion and stayed for the Nerd's Reserve ;) Both are very tasty (and very different) One of my friends had the Red Rum which was tasty if a little hoppier than I like a beer. The Nerd's Reserves was a Sour Strawberry Berliner Wiess. It was tasty. It was indeed sour.
I'm totally going back again :) They do have taster flights which are $10 for 6 beers.
