Marche' is a unique experience. It was my friends and my first time dining here and when we were seated we were given a card. We weren't explained HOW it worked so we kind of idly sat down for a few minutes observing others before we figured out we had to get up, choose our dish then "pay" with our cards and we'd checkout after we had finished eating.
My friends opted for pasta and pizza, both were great but the line was the longest and it took them quite some time to choose their meal. As I was starving I opted for one of the shorter lines and chose sushi. I grabbed the salmon special of the day which included a spicy salmon roll, sashimi and maki. The sashimi was nice and fresh, the roll was... not great. It wasn't HORRIBLE but I wish I didn't get it. Didn't have any flavour. My meal set was $17.99.
They do have free water which is near the bathrooms, if you don't want to purchase a drink.
After our meal we left to checkout, please note that if you do not have a card they will not let you out. My friend had a baby and they even gave a card for her oddly enough.
I likely won't be back. I'm not a fan of serving myself, especially since it's a pretty packed place and getting around isn't the easiest. If I go out and am paying for a meal I'd rather just wait to be served.
