  • I hadn't taken a vacation longer for 2 days since I became a single pet parent (4 cats) so when I was planning a 5 day trip to visit my parents I knew that I needed to find a sitter for the fur kids. I remembered meeting Melissa at a pet expo a couple of years earlier and I still had her business card in my wallet. Even though I was going on vacation in August I contacted Melissa via her website in June. She responded within an hour of my email. We corresponded and arranged a meeting for a week before I was leaving. On the day I was to have our meeting she had to cancel due to a family emergency. I was a little nervous that I would be left scrambling to find another sitter at such short notice but Melissa assured me that she would be back in time and we rescheduled the meeting. When Melissa first came to the house to meet the kids it was perfect. They loved her! On the first day of the visit Melissa sent me a text photo of the kids, she even managed to take one of the chicken cat who hides from strangers. I was so happy and immediately put at ease that my kids where in great hands. Melissa told me that she would text on day 1 and also on the last day of visits so when I got a text on day 3 I was kind of alarmed but it was all good. She was just checking with me to see if I thought everything was ok since of the cats was having a bit of diarrhea and pooped outside of the box. I appreciated the fact that she checked in with me. On the last day she texted me to let me know that all was good and asked that I send her a text when I got home just to make sure that all was ok. I had an excellent experience with Melissa and would recommend her to anyone in Henderson who is looking for a sitter. I will be using Melissa again whenever I take my next vacation. Good prices, good service, good person!
