I was here on business so my employer choose this hotel for me to stay in.
I did some research on the hotel prior to arriving and from the photos I was in awe. When I got there it for some reason didn't appear the same as what was in the photos. The hotel felt a little dark and gloomy.
With regard to what the hotel offers it makes up for its gloomy look. It did have a pool with hot tub, a fitness center (both of which are on the same floor) places to eat, drink and just sit and relax. I appreciated what they had to offer.
The staff (which the only interaction I had with staff were at the front desk for check in and check out) they were rather friendly and helpful.
My room was a double bed room on the 18th floor. It had a view of construction. There was tv with basic local cable channels, a desk to sit and do your work and a chair in case you didn't want to sit in the bed. What I definitely needed was a refrigerator as I was there for 4 days. In addition, The ice machine was quite a ways from my room and I was hoping that it would have a filtered fountain for water but it didn't.
The hotel was in a great location overall. I was able to walk to all of my destinations with ease. There is shopping and places to eat and many things to do.
So in closure, I'd recommend coming to this hotel overall as the pro's do outweigh the cons.
