This guy saved us!!! Our beloved 2002 Prius started acting up...the warning light of death came on and suddenly we started having all sorts of issues (it even affected the brakes). We took it to Toyota and they quoted us over $7000 in repairs. $7000!!!! We were shopping for a second car at the time and were completely devastated that we would somehow need to buy 2 cars, which was impossible with a baby on the way. We asked Toyota more about how they came up with some of the items that needed repair, and they simply stated that it was all based off the codes they got, NOT from actual damage you could see. My husband contacted EV Powers and he said that the other issues (like the supposed steering column failure) were very likely all related to the battery failing. He gave us 2 options, a refurbished battery or new battery, both came with warranties, for far less than Toyota quoted us. This was back in January/February 2016 and our little Pri is still running strong with even better gas mileage than before! We have not had any issues since. Service was very fast and saved us from buying a new car. I cannot recommend highly enough. Think twice before listening to the dealership...come to EV Powers first!
