  • It was a bittersweet visit. When I first arrived I had a consultation with Destini, and I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she examined my hair and she said, she can do that and agreed and was very nice and helpful. When I arrived in the appt date, she couldn't be able to make it due to a family emergency, and it's definitely not her fault, but the girl who greeted me, agreed to work on me, but frankly, she wasn't on board, nor familiar with the idea and goal of the hair style and did her own thing with foils but I tried to go with the flow with her, by the end of that day it looked nothing like that photo nor the concept of full head highlights and it was poorly scattered and some of the foils bled through and uneven, and rather it taking 2 hours, it took about 4 hours, she admitted her fault and kept apologizing but I still paid the first $70 and the manager, Cynthia took a look at my hair and offered to come back tomorrow and fix it. Apparently the girl who greeted me was new but she admitted I was her first hair dye since she worked there, and her expertise wasn't enough to create full head highlights on me, yet she decided to take the matter on her own hands instead of sending me with a different stylist who was more comfortable with the concept, nor asked for any assistance. Besides the hair fiasco that happened, the new girl was very sweet and welcoming, and she did cut my hair the same day and it was good, it was just an unfortunate mishap. Phone calls later and the very next day I had to leave work early to let Cynthia restart the process (during work my coworkers and employers were puzzled at my hair) and Cynthia was pretty much a savior and knew exactly what I wanted and what to do and she quickly did my foils very good and quick and the process was wonderful and it came out MUCH more to my satisfaction, and took about 2 1/2 hours at the most. I paid 113.00, so around $184.00 in total with no refund or discount but I didn't mind that much because I saw how good Cynthia revived my hairstyle. I didn't tip due to the unplanned unfortunate 2-day process but the final outcome was very satisfying and very similar to the photo I showed her . Other than the hair fiasco, every employee was nice, helpful, making conversation, especially with humor. Overall it was a bittersweet visit. I plan to visit again and most definitely plan to see Destini again. :)) The first three photos are the ones after the new girl styles my hair and the last three photos are the ones Cynthia did and you can see the major difference.
