My friend and I ate here this past Saturday after she read some reviews. We were looking for breakfast that wasn't pretentious, pricey or took 2 hours to finish.
I honestly expected an old school diner with layers of smoke leftover from the smoking days and some greasy spoon fare.
The place is incredibly clean nicely redone. The average age is about 60 and I love the old dudes at the counter reading the paper.
The coffee was good, pancakes big and fluffy, egg over easy done well, bacon was a little wimpy but crispy. My friend had french toast; 4 big slices, warm syrup, same egg and bacon set up.
The service was a bit slow but we were both enthusiastic to find a new breakfast spot. We're eager to return to try other menu items.
