  • Being six months preggos, and on the search for the perfect hot dog, I took advice from Jan, the owner of Sweet Republic, and tried the corn dogs at Short Leash Dogs. These dogs did not disappoint. They were the perfect blend of salty goodness of a local made, non-filler dog balanced with the sweetness of a homemade cornbread batter. "Gourmet corn dog" sounds like an oxymoron, but Short Leash makes it a reality that works! Can't wait to try more of their dogs.
