I used to love Forever 21 but after this recent experience I am shopping elsewhere. I purchased a jacket online, called corporate customer service to get a copy of the receipt, was told I could return in store (why they sent me the receipt) and was told there was an extended return period because of the holidays. When I came to this store to do the return I was told I was past the date (incorrect from what their customer service rep said) and that there was absolutely nothing they could do. The manager, Mark Hood, is INCREDIBLY rude and unhelpful. He talked over me the whole time, which any good manager knows only escalates an issue to a louder situation. He was very combative and unhelpful and probably should look for another career. He told me the burden was mine and even though 21 is a huge retailer, they only do store returns as a courtesy. This company needs to get their act together if they want to stay competitive in online sales. It shouldn't be this difficult for a paying (former) repeat customer!
