| - Highly recommend for two reasons: price and availability.
Just had my first visit today. I am in the late stages of pregnancy and ready to give birth, so I went in for acupuncture to stimulate birth.
I wasn't familiar with community acupuncture, but it absolutely makes sense for a lower rate. After calling around it looks like my only option was to pay ~$150 until I was referred here by a pregnant friend. The sliding scale here was what sold me. Because of that, I didn't know what to expect, so I had pretty low expectations.
It was very easy to make my appointment online because there were tons of time slots available.
I showed up and was pleasantly greeted by Saia. We had a quick consultation before I was led to the back room. Treatment happened in a lightweight reclining chair with a sheet over top and I was given comfy pillows. There were 8 chairs in the room, so up to 8 people can be treated at once. I relaxed in the chair for about 45 minutes, Saia returned to remove the needles, suggested how often to return, and I was on my way. Very good experience here. I will be returning.
However, if you are expecting a private room, laying on a table like a massage, better look elsewhere.
