  • I took my bike into RideNow Powersports on Rancho Drive in February to get it scoped. The bike had been sitting for a few months without being started and it seemed like the carburetors were gummed up. The service technician called after about one week to give me the diagnosis & cost estimate to repair my bike. During that telephone conversation I inquired about getting a Kuryakan hypercharger installed, seeing that they were already rejetting the carbs. The service tech needed to research the hypercharger cost and call me back, which he did promptly. I gave him approval to proceed with ordering and installing the hypercharger and rejetting the carbs. After about another week the service tech called me to let me know the hypercharger and carb kit had arrived and that my bike would be ready in a couple of days. So far so good, but that's when the customer service started going south. That same day I tried calling the service tech back to have the mechanic inspect another issue. The service tech was not available so I left a message to call me back. The service tech did not return my call, so I called and left another message the next day. Once again I did not receive a call back. Another week or so went by and I had heard nothing from the dealership, so I called again. The service tech I had previously been dealing with was now on vacation, so another service tech was trying to help me. He said the carbs were rejetted and the hypercharger was installed, but there was a notation about the tires and he couldn't understand the mechanic's notes so he was going to speak with the mechanic and call me back. He called back and told me that the tires were low on tread and needed to be replaced, so I asked him for a cost estimate to puchase and install two new tires. He said he would have to look it up and call me back. Once again days passed by with no call back regarding the tire replacement quote. At this point I decided to drive to the dealership and speak with a manager. My bike had been at the dealership for 3-1/2 weeks already. First I tried speaking with the service manager Dennis, but he was with a customer, so I asked for the General Manager, Chris. Once I got with Chris and explained the lack of customer service, he immediately apologized and said he would get the problems addressed. He called in Dennis, the Service Manager, reiterated the problems I had experienced, and together Chris & Dennis resolved the problems I was experiencing. That same day the dealership installed two new tires and had my bike nicely detailed for me when I returned to pick it up. To make it up to me I was provided favorable pricing for everything done to get my bike back in shape. Chris and Dennis did a great job restoring my faith in the dealership and the Service Department. Thank you gentlemen!
