Had not been back in almost a year and was looking forward to the great food and service we had experienced previously. My first inclination of dread was when I saw the catering van still had the name of restaurants that they had closed.....but in I went. My wife and Granddaughter were already there. While waiting for a table some people walked in and were immediately seated? When we were finally taken to our table it was in the back of the restaurant where wait staff were constantly walking back and forth with food and drinks and dirty dishes. My Granddaughter would be sitting in a high chair directly in the path. I told this to the person seating us and asked for another table. I was told that we could not have a booth, with a highchair, because of fire regulations. Side note...ate New Year's Eve at another restaurant at a booth with a highchair! We finally were seated at another table. Our waiter came by, took our drink orders and promptly brought them back....well he got one of two right! He took our order and disappeared. The table next to us filled up with eight people and a wait staff person took their order. Now the wait began....and continued and continued. The table of eight got their food and our wait continued. Finally a runner brought our food....well two out of three. Evidently they didn't read my order correctly and made my Patty Melt with Beef instead of Turkey. They rushed the refire and my food came out fairly quickly. Having been in some sort or food service for most of my life I knew the trick...the top bread of my Patty Melt was nice and grilled.....the bottom soft and greasy. The dressing was on two thirds of the bread. I pulled the bottom bread off and ate that half. Thought Patty Melts had Grilled Onions...guess not here. Had Onion Rings instead of Fries.....never seen Onion Rings that dark and crispy... OVERCOOKED! Let's tally up the scorecard..
Drinks 50% correct
Food 66% correct

Final Score...It'll be another year before we go back...
MAYBE!
