  • As I've said in other reviews, I almost never give 5 stars, not trying to sound like a snob, but this place deserves it. Great, real wood fired BBQ as well as the typical smokehouse fare. It's right off Central Avenue, the location is a bit odd in an older area of town, with some newer apartments across the tracks and some older cottages behind it. Be on the lookout if you're driving, it's tucked back so it can be easy to miss. Accessible by bus and hopefully streetcar soon, maybe 10 mins from uptown, so a good option if you're visiting without a car. Staff is polite, food is great, decent prices. The ONLY complaint I have, and that really has nothing to do with the establishment itself is that parking is very limited. I'm not one who feels entitled to a parking space everywhere I go, but you may have to circle the block a bit, the city doesn't tow this area though, so unless someone calls you should be alright.
