| - Important tip: book a week in advance at least. Don't doubt you're in the wrong plaza. This plaza looks shady with no see-through windows. There will be homeless people asking you for money. This restaurant is in da hood. Who cares. You can offer them your leftovers (not the garlic shrimp though, which brings me to my next point...)
Ohhhhhh the yelpers are right. Always listen to us!!! Cos the garlic shrimp is so bomb diggity! They deep fry the whole damn thing and the shells and even the head are uber crispy and crusty (here, the crustacean can finally live up to its own name). They peel and devein the shrimp but the shell is still attached at the tail. So you take one bite of meat, then one bite of crispy shell, lick your fingers and your lips, and repeat, and hopefully you get to eat the last piece of the plate, because you'll most likely have to wait until your next Vegas trip to eat the shrimps again.
Moving on. Yummy soft shell crab drunken noodles! I've had lots of drunken noodles with chicken, beef, pork, shrimp... But soft shell crab was unprecedented. The portion wasn't as big as I expected, but the flavors were all there! Order it and you won't be disappointed!
Skip the tom kha and dessert. Flavor was bland, rice was hard and old!
Yum neau (beef salad) was worth a try. Make sure you order mild. Thai spicy cannot be undermined.
You might still have to wait for 5 to 10 mins even if you show up on time for your reservation, but at least they have a bar to let you have a drink while you wait. Service was awesome and staff were friendly.
Despite the few disappointing dishes, the good dishes were exceptional and unique. This is still a 5 star Thai restaurant!
