  • My husband and i have visited Kyoto many times prior to the recent closing. We were very excited to return as our experiences have always been positive. What a disappointment! I ordered a Grey Goose vodka martini; they did not have Grey Goose nor any premium vodka. The fried rice was brought from the kitchen rather then made on the teppenyaki table and was tasteless. We ordered scallops (received 2) and the chicken and steak were just ok, certainly not worthy of the $38.00+ cost. The chef, although nice enough, did not have the skill to pull off this type of cooking. ..
