  • Wow, based on other reviews, people HATE this McD's. I often had spotty service here, but no real horror stories. I'd lean to a '3' but my last couple of experiences have been poor. I'm not the healthiest eater, but I typically manage to not pass through the Golden Arches too often. However, they're providing (at the time of writing) some excellent offers for mobile ordering which are too good to pass up - especially since I enjoy their breakfast sandwiches and it's on my way to work. The first time I ordered, I was just learning the mobile system and opted to pick up inside. That went perfect with no issues. The next time I noticed that you can choose to have it brought to a designated parking spot, so I opted for that. You'd figure since you cut out half the service process (ordering and paying), that it should be faster, but it was brought out to me no faster than if I just went through drive thru - not really any incentive. Today it took them at least 6 minutes to bring out my order - which was simply a sausage mcmuffin. I saw several cars in drive thru receive their food who weren't even there before I arrived. Very poor service and completely defeats the point of mobile ordering. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised since I know from my time in fast food that parked cars are not given priority. I'm not sure which measures McD's has to monitor delivery times for this new system, because at least drive thrus use timers to measure speed and they're evaluated by management and corporate. Overall, this place needs to be more consistent, and they - along with the chain in general - need to ensure they properly implement the mobile ordering service if they want people to be on board with it.
