  • When all you want to do on a hot summer night is to catch Pokémon on Mill Ave. and at Tempe Beach Park, a cold paleta makes the farming a little easier. A paleta is an ice pop made from fresh fruit. Here at Paletas Betty, they make everything daily and in small batches from actual fruit. There's no canned fruit or preservatives here, folks! As a former Sun Devil, I never got to experience this location while I did my time at ASU but you can bet your ass that when I saw Paletas Betty on Saturday, I made sure I got the entourage in here as fast as possible. I tried a Sandia for the first time ever and I don't think I can go back. Watermelon with fresh mint... how can it not be amazing? I usually go to the Paletas Betty in the downtown Chandler location but I think I might like this location better. Am I gonna drive down Mill Ave. just to get it? Probably not but I wouldn't hesitate to swing by this smaller more humble location when I'm in the area --- especially when people with cute pups are in the area. They have paletas just for dogs too, people. They're called Perroletas. *melts*
