| - This place was amazing from start to finish. First of all, it is beautiful inside. My boyfriend and I went on a Wednesday evening. I called at about 7 and they said they could fit us in at 8:30. Second of all, our service was outstanding. Our server, Thomas, paid very close attention to us. He heard me tell my boyfriend I didn't love mushrooms and when he brought out our warm goat cheese, mushroom, and arugula salad, not only did he split the salad for us, but he put my mushrooms on the side. How thoughtful! My boyfriend had the pearl point oysters which were incredible. I had the steak and tuna tartare. We both liked the tuna better than the steak but it was still perfectly prepared. I had the filet medallions Oscar style and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. The steak was perfectly cooked as was the asparagus - I like mine a little crunchy, not soggy. My boyfriend had the halibut and the flavors and sauce went together incredibly well. We also ordered the Brussel sprouts which neither of us were a big fan, but it obviously won't keep us from returning. After our meal, we went to the bar for an after dinner drink and dessert. My boyfriend had the bananas foster...DELICIOUS. I had the smores dessert and it was okay-I would prefer a stronger marshmallow flavor. Last but not least, they have live music every single night. I hope this place keeps it up for the long-term as it will probably become one of our new favorites. I am excited to return with my mom...she will love it.
