  • We actually LOVED this hotel! Our stay in Vegas wound up being longer than expected and we considered looking for another hotel to just change things up, but found ourselves staying here because really, it had everything we were looking for... -We were looking for something OFF the strip. -We wanted easy access to our car as we headed to the desert and many other places during our stay. Oh, and parking was free! Say whaaat?! **They do also have shuttle that runs frequently to the strip! -We didn't want to walk through a maze like massive place with tons of people to get to our room -We wanted to stay somewhat away from all the hustle and bustle. -Oh, and a place that didn't have reports of bugs. You would be surprised at how many Vegas hotels have them!! Here...never a report! PRICE- It was so reasonably priced I kept looking for faults. It didn't have any! I found great deals on Expedia! Check there! No astronomical per person resort fees either! POOL- The pool was beautiful, clean, surrounded by palm trees and views of the NOLA inspired exterior. -Towels were clean, fresh and readily available. -Cabanas were easily accessible and cozy -Drinks at the bar were tasty, alcohol filled and cheap ...8-$10 each. If you're looking for thong clad chicks, waxed pecks and a bumpin' dj, this isn't your place but for our family, it was perfect!! There were also a few relaxing hot tubs hubs and I thoroughly enjoyed! It was a such an amazing place to just chill, worry and crowd free for a bit during our month long cross country road-trip! ROOM- Fairly standard. Comfy beds. Clean. Juliet balcony overlooking the pool and there was a small window in the showers that did the same! Couch, fridge and coffee table in each room also. FOOD- We dined at the Asian fusion restaurant Ondori after a late night on the town. Yum! My daughters also ordered reasonably priced room service. A large stack of completely chocolate chip filled pancakes. Huge order, delivered quickly. Win! GAME ROOM & BOWLING- Smaller game room, but big enough for our 6&8 year old to play a few without emptying our pockets. The bowling was so great! $1 midnight! Very cool! There's also an entire store for professionals! Rental equipment was clean. Staff was extremely friendly. GAMBLING- We had a not so friendly dealer at the roulette table. We are used to pure personality and chatting with dealers when we frequent the Borgata in AC so we had higher standards. We feel it makes the whole vibe of the table and can affect the way people play. Should've moved I guess. Perhaps it was just this chick? Hoping so. Didn't win big, but we were grateful for a little hit! We have won so much over the years, we have no room to complain. The Orleans also has a spa with typical spa prices. They offer facials, standard massages and fun wraps. There's a fully stocked liquor store too! Checking in was easy each time and checking out was too, although there was a line that did move quickly when we checked out on a weekend. We loved all of the fun alligator and NOLA decor! It got us very excited for heading there later on this trip! Depending on what I'm in town for next, if I have a rental car, and the kiddos, I would definitely stay here again. It was so incredibly family friendly without being geared solely towards to the kids. It was great for satisfying us parents while still keeping the kiddos occupied.
