Ce restaurant est un peu Francois mais plus Americain. This restaurant is a little French but more American.
Yes, most of the food could be found in a French restaurant in France, but it could also be found in a creative American restaurant that is trying out a more eclectic menu.
Before I say more, I have to say that the whole meal experience was exquisite. From the initial reception to the final bite of dessert, everything ran smoothly with a very attentive waiter and the owner telling us about the restaurant week menu.
We started with cocktails, then an appetizer followed by an entree and desert. We paired three of our entrees with a bottle of Wildhaven Columbia Valley merlot while the fourth member of our group had a glass of prosecco to complement her halibut.
Each and every dish we tried, and we actually had twelve different dishes, was a succulent delightful taste extravaganza. Maybe I'm going a little over the top, but every bite was enjoyed by everyone.
I am just going to focus on my entree, the Moroccan lamb with couscous. The lamb was tender and savory with a hint of sweetness. The couscous was a perfect flavor complement. The vegetables were perfectly marinated with just the right taste. Definitely a five-star meal.
Do not expect to have a full meal without paying for it. This is not a $20 per person including drinks type of place. You should budget at least $60 per person if you want food and at least one drink. If you just have an entree, expect to pay $25 to $40 per dish.
This restaurant is worth every penny you spend here.
