This was my first and last time coming to this Plato's Closet. The women working there were incredibly rude. There was already a line of 3 people wanting to sell clothes when I walked in - no big deal. But again and again I continued to watch the women by the counter ignore the entire line! Instead they were socializing or doing "busy work" (tagging clothes instead of helping the guests).
By the time I was able to get to the counter and check in I still had to beg for attention because the woman helping me (who I unfortunately believe is the manager/owner) kept walking away and turning her back to me as I tried to ask how long the wait would be. Once I finally got her attention she said the wait would be an hour or less.
By an hour and a half I was still waiting. The owner/manager had stopped working completely and was chatting with friends that came in, one girl was very diligent about tagging clothes rather than helping customers (she would even ignore them if they spoke to her). Which left one poor girl to check out customers and go through new clothes all alone (and as it was busy on both sides, it wasn't going well).
Finally at two hours I said something pointing out that I was disappointed that it had been twice the wait time. The manager kept chatting away, the girl kept tagging clothes, and the poor hard working girl did her best to get to my stuff and check out guests still alone.
She rushed through my things (I feel she ignored a lot of my clothes but that's besides the point) and other customers around me continued to be ignored or face long waiting. Honestly what boils my blood about this the most is that the manager did not help her associate(s) at all. And the other girls working in the store besides the one who was actually helping customers did nothing to help customers or speed any process.
If that's not enough while I was waiting throughout these two hours I walked around the store and was again disappointed. I know retail stores are incredibly hard to keep organized, I used to work in one myself, but this was unreal. I never knew which rack was for which size. Sure there are cute little signs that say "small", "medium" etc. but every item down the line is a different size, literally.
