  • Sad to say many of these reviews are right, the service is quite pretentious. I used the washroom at the Royal York and was treated better. I called ahead of time to make sure the pool would be opened and was told it would be, of course when I arrived I was told differently. It was one of the only reasons I booked this hotel. Bouncers everywhere! I'm not sure who is staying in this hotel, but it was overkill and frankly made me feel more worried than secure. The rooms was gorgeous, this didn't surprise me. Everything was as advertised and more. Bed comfortable, Keurig in the room, great shower, very quiet and overall excellent. Rooftop patio is a relaxing experience with an amazing view, our server was excellent and our drinks even better. I may not stay here again, but I certainly want to get my infinity pool experience I had so looked forward to.
