  • There's nothing like a classy bar that is run solely by two proud, gorgeous feminist sisters. The atmosphere at Velveteen resembles a dark, comfortable speakeasy, where you feel like you have found a gem. But don't forget the cocktails! After all, that's what they are known for. With menus changing each season, you will always be surprised. And while you are thumbing through that seasonal menu, don't forget to check out the local art and poetry that dresses its pages. P.S. There's a rumor you might just catch a celebrity hiding on one of Velveteen's comfy couches. They've been know to stop by from time to time.
