| - 2.5 stars, but I will round up (I really liked their TVs in the bathroom mirror though).
Definitely go for a GO ROOM and you won't regret your stay here. The Go rooms are actually pretty nice, clean, very affordable, and have some spiffy elements to them. The hallways and Go room atmostphere makes me think of a candy/cupcake shop with a color scheme of pinks/browns everywhere, but I love the fact that they have a built in TV in the mirrors of each bathroom (Genious!). Bathroom door was a frosted glass sliding door without a lock, and is easily pushed off hinges when you close it too hard. Sometimes it feels like the door does not close all the way. They have an ipod docking system with a pretty good sound system, but you have to obtain the cord form the front desk.
The hotel itself is in a pretty prime location, smack dab in the middle of the strip and walkable distance to many other bigger hotels/tourist attractions (bellagio fountains, etc.).Taxi lines were never long and the casino area is alright.
Turnoffs: Hotel front desk is quite small compared to the other bigger hotels. Lack of front desk staff made the check-in line take forever. There is only one check-in and check-out line, which made checking-out take forever too. PLAN accordingly if you have to make a flight. Obtaining internet connection was a pain and there is a charge for internet here. Demographics of the guests at this hotel was not as hip and young as I would have liked it to be, but it makes sense because this is one of the older hotels around.
P.S. They have real flamingos and other animals in the pool/patio area. Pool area is quite big with multiple pools, but I didn't have a chance to check it out.
