  • I can not begin to express how amazing Dr. Lirtzman and his staff have been. Our dog had recently had knee surgery at an animal hospital in Chandler. The surgery failed and we were told our dog would most likely lose his leg. We visited Dr. Lirtzman for a second opinion. He went out of his way to talk to my husband about our dog's situation prior to the actual consult on his day off. He was VERY thorough on his consult (about an hour visit). He explained in detail what needed to be done and gave us all available information. He made it clear from the beginning we would have an uphill battle with our dog, however he believed he could save our dog's leg. They even went out of their way to rearrange their surgery schedule so our dog could be seen sooner than later. The surgery was able to be viewed via webcam which put us at ease. He spent 5 hours repairing our dog's leg. The end result was successful. We could not be more happy with Dr. Lirtzman and his staff. I would HIGHLY recommend him for your dog's surgical needs.
