| - I visit this location almost daily and as of late, have come in contact with a young man, non-shaven and extremely unkempt. I cannot tell you his name, because he wears common clothes and looks like he walked off the street and began to work behind the counter. He has no clearly identifiable Dunkin Donuts uniform or name tag. I encountered the same gentleman on 10/25 and his LACK of customer service and people skills will prevent me from visiting this location ever again. He didn't greet me upon stepping up to the register, didn't exchange any type of emotion whatsoever. Both days he got my order wrong, but today, when I said hello and thank you, I got nothing in return. I finally asked him: "Why are you so unhappy? You never smile when I see you." His response was: " I can't tell if I smile or not. Would you like me to tell you my life story or something?" Rather than to get into a verbal exchange, I reminded him that he worked with the general public and should be more friendly. I told him that this was my second day in a row cashing out with him, and he seems very miserable.
In addition to his lack of customer service skills, he was also going between handling money and preparing drinks and not washing his hands. The other employee (who was just as oblivious as to what was going on) was handling money and making drinks as well. The gentleman in question, I might also add, that, instead of using the scoop to get ice, he jammed the cup into the ice cooler both times when he prepared my drink. This is clearly unsanitary, especially considering he handled money about 60 seconds prior to his hand touching my cup and entering the ice bin. I can honestly say, with 100% certainty that I will NEVER visit this Dunkin Donuts location again. I have lived in the area for over a year now, and have frequented this Dunkin Donuts with my family. In the business world, it can take months to earn the loyalty of a customer, and only seconds to lose one. This gentleman has ruined my experiences at this location, and probably many other patrons who have yet to take the time to write a letter.
