  • Wasn't bad but wasn't great. 2 of us went there Thursday after work around 4pm. Place was empty, told them we may have about 6 to 8 people trickle in for after work dinner and drinks. We were told it wasn't a problem**. The hostess was awesome but our server seemed pissed when the whole party of 10 showed up. We waited a little on the long side to be offered food but our drinks were replenished well (when we could actually catch his eye in passing- He really wasn't the most approachable or friendly person). When we asked for the bill we were told we could not get separate bills and were charged 18.5% tip on top of that (**would've been nice to know this when we got there)!!! .Would they have done the same if we all sat around the bar??? FYI, they don't do that at the Brazen Head or William's Landing- which are right down the street. Wouldn't be my first place to go back to, I haven't written it off yet. Maybe our waiter just fell out on the wrong side of bed, or is in the process of quitting smoking or something. Either way, I was not impressed.
