| - Dood. Pretty swanky for a Station Casino! I was quite impressed with the decor when I walked in. Totally my style. Clean, modern, earth tones. Me likey. It's separate from the Casino, which is nice. You can't smell the smoke, hear all the ching ching chings, and it isn't crowded.
My family was staying here so I went to have dinner with them at the Feast Buffet (which I rated separately). I went up to their room and it's pretty nice! It's a little small but I'm diggin' the decor. I loved the bed frames, the dark wood furniture, and all the mood lighting. The bathroom has an awesome shower head and a deep tub. Sexy. There are Cisco System phones (makes this place pretty legit to me!) next to the bed and the toilet, which say "Welcome xxxxxxx!" There's a 42" HD TV mounted on the wall in the room too which also say "Welcome xxxxxx!" Hey, it's the little things that count.
I went back to my hotel and came back in the morning to work out at the Aliante Gym. Good stuff, man! A few ellipticals, a few treadmills, a stationary bike, yoga mats, lots of weights, etc for the vain or those like myself, who pigged out on the buffet the night before! They also have this cool machine which is half elliptical, half stair stepper. it was weird. It hurt my ass and my quads. It made me feel like I was on a moon bounce. It was probably an expensive piece of equipment. Anyway, they provide you with tons of towels, headsets (there are a few TVs mounted on the walls, and there are TVs on the treadmills), and individually wrapped cups (great for germ haters).
I'll definitely be back as a guest the next time I come in to town! Plan on hanging here though, in North Las Vegas. It's very, very far from everywhere else.
