| - Update - I asked my mother, a frequent shopper, and she said this was commonplace. All I'm saying, maybe have sign or plaque to refer to and work on your delivery? I was right in front of the employee looking at the locked cases when she asked to take my bag. Didn't feel very welcoming.
I'm not a new age follower, but sister and mom rave about this shop and they always are wearing the nicest jewelry. I wanted to go in and check it out for myself, and upon entering the store, the woman behind the counter asked to hold my purse?! I have a tiny crossbody bag with my wallet, which has a military ID and passport card in it, and my EPI-pen. When I objected, she said that it was store policy. I asked if she wanted to check my bag upon entering and leaving, but apparently that wasn't good enough so I left. I decided to check Yelp and see if this was just something that they just started but nope, they've been doing this for quite some time and they've gotten complaints before. From one customer service representative to another, this practice is not helping your business. Guess I'll made my purchases from Etsy or something.
