| - If you're a fan of bingo or just gathering with friends somewhere that has a casual environment then you can't miss BAD Bingo at Lone Butte Casino! The evening was different than I expected, but in a good way. First and foremost, I was so confused because I was in a bingo hall and there was definitely a lot of bingo played BUT at different times through the night, it felt like I was at a night club!
They started things off pretty early with games, contests, and drinks. When we arrived for the bingo game (around 11pm), we paid $20 and got an electronic bingo tablet which keeps track of the numbers that have already been called out. You can get the old school bingo sheets & stampers and keep track yourself, but we had gone more to socialize so the tablets were perfect! I didn't realize that they play each round on 9 bingo cards, and there are over 10 different bingo games. When all was said and done, it ended around 2am and unfortunately, quite a few people in our group were 1 away on multiple occasions, but we were not winners!
The DJ did a great job; not only was there upbeat music playing throughout the bingo games, but there were also a ton of people who got out on the dance floor during intermission. They had a cash bar inside the bingo hall, but all non-alcoholic drinks were self-serve and free! My friends got some snacks too, and they said they were very affordable.
Overall, we had a really good time. I wouldn't hesitate to return, it was $20 well-spent!
