Location: Far. Well, if you walk from St. Laurent, it's far. I was doing the street art thing this morning and somehow ended up all the way east. I don't know what the nearest subway is, but street parking is available (metered) and I reckon you might find free parking on some of the side streets.
The place: It's not really a sit-down place but they do have some counter-style seating. It's very clean.
The goods: I think most people come here for the sweets, though I did notice some pretty delicious-looking pizza for sale as well. Personally, I was mesmerized by the smallish display of doughnuts and pastries. I initially intended to try a doughnut because I've heard about these from different people, but they were HUGE - like, two-in-one huge, so I decided to go for a brownie instead. It was a fairly large portion and it was heavy, moist and super chocolatey. I definitely recommend this if you're a fan of chocolate, but I found it a little too rich to eat in one shot. I think I could easily split the brownie out into 3 smaller portions and that would do the trick. We won't tell my trainer about this.
Service: Meh. The girl who was at the counter wasn't exactly a ray of sunshine.
Price point: $4 for one brownie. A bit steep but worth it to treat yourself once in a while.
