Came in the other day shopping for a new couch. With the recommendation of my roommate, since she's purchased a bedroom set here before I decided to check it out! We walked in and was immediately greeted by Lisa, one of the sales associates. She was warm, welcoming and asked the right questions: style? Look? Color? Design? Price range? She compared the different couches on the sales floor with the ones to the right side being more "high end" and then referred us to look at brochures since my price range was between $700-900. I'm in the market for a "townhouse-rental couch" aka temporary sitting/sleeping couch nothing fancy.
So after about 20 minutes of turning page after page my roomie and I found couches that fit the look &price of what we were looking for so then Lisa pulled up the photos on their big computer screen so we can review it. After pricing it out, I had asked if there were any other discounts she can offer since we are starving students and would like to save somewhere if possible (mind you, this place charges a delivery fee off $70, where most places say it's free...but raise the fee of the item). She replied that they don't do discounts because the items are already pretty competitively priced. Humm.
This made me giggle because we ended up buying the same couch down the street from another vendor for a slightly lower price. *wink.
Also, my roomie had purchased her furniture from the owner Jerry?, about 4 months prior and he was able to work a deal with her, so they do offer "discounts" at iDeal... just not Lisa.
The place has nice furniture.
