| - Considering that this is one of Las Vegas' premiere nightclubs, I will give "OMNIA Nightclub" the benefit of the doubt. And to know that this place only has an average 3-star Yelp rating, I was someone skeptical coming here for a live music event. Well after my experience, it is safe to say that I will return here for a future visit.
Located directly in the Caesar's Palace Hotel & Casino, "OMNIA Nightclub" is the place to see and be seen. My lady and I purchased tickets a couple months in advance for worldwide EDM (Electronic Dance Music) DJ, Calvin Harris. We bought our tickets online through his website and as an added bonus, we both received a copy of his latest album on CD, "Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1".
As we skip forward to the actual date (which was on Friday 9/29/17), we arrive in the pre-paid ticket lines promptly at 10:00pm. As many Yelpers have mentioned, the lines here are confusing as hell! One line is for VIP, another line is for people who still haven't purchased tickets, and another line is will-call. We were very fortunate to get right in with our pre-paid tickets since everything was as smooth as silk getting inside.
The security here is pretty strict. They stamp your wrist twice while thoroughly checking the barcode that you purchased tickets in advance. I had a confirmation email on my phone as well as an actual printout that I brought with me. The dress code here is also very strict; no jerseys, no hats, no tennis shoes, and no baggy clothes. I wasn't worried as I had a nice buttoned down shirt and dressy jeans.
Once entering, this place is absolutely extravagant! This place offers a whopping 75,000 square feet of space including a hip-hop room, small EDM room, and the large "main" room. Additionally, there is a rooftop balcony overlooking the entire Las Vegas strip and many of the popular hotels. To me, that is a wonderful place to party under the stars while soaking in all that Las Vegas is worth. The outside balcony also has a DJ complete with a bar and private bottle service in the designated reserved areas. The inside layout is amazing; as I mentioned, there are various rooms that have extremely elaborate lighting. The main room has a moving chandelier that changes colors, changes it's shape, and looks dazzling to the eyes.
My lady and I spent a good one hour outside (from 10:30-11:30pm) and then went into the main floor (from 11:40pm-2:30am). This is where we saw a few low-key DJ's spinning continuous house music. And at 1:00am, Calvin Harris came up! We were literally right by the front area while my lady and I must've been only 10 feet away from him! It was a surreal experience as he has been one of my favorite musicians/DJ's since around 2011.
My advice to everyone is that you arrive here EARLY!!! There were many disgruntled people that looked upset because they were STILL waiting in line at 2:30am. And as for the occupancy level, there is no regulation of how many people can fit into this place. When we were leaving (in the middle of the night), it was an atrocity just trying to get out. So I am under the assumption that OMNIA has no regulations on the maximum capacity level. Overall, if you take my advice and arrive early, you will have an amazing and memorable time. My rating for "OMNIA Nightclub", a solid four-stars.
