  • We booked our package about 12 weeks prior. We chose the simplicity package, just us two. The coordinators were very thorough and fast in answering all my questions. When it came time for us we had some issues finding the parking (which is in the back) and we had to walk around the block to get inside. The chapel is cute, like a little cottage. Inside we were greeted by our first names by Barbara. She informed us that we might be a bit earlier since we were there 30 minutes prior. We had dinner reservations so that was great! However after 45 minutes sitting around and no one in sight, I started to get anxious. Our appointment was at 630pm and now it was 715pm. I looked for Barbara who was in her office, she stated that she can not get a hold of the minister... and she is trying to find someone else. WHAT? I panicked. Barbara was very sweet however, and even called other chapels, but they were full. I was about to cry and started to shake, it was bad. My poor husband didn't know what to do. She found another minister for us who rushed to save our wedding day, he was in jeans, totally ok with us, since he just jumped up and helped us out. The minister was very nice, he did our ceremony and even resided a very great poem that so fitted us. It was way after 9pm when we left. Barbara refunded our entire money, which of course should have been done. But she did so without us asking. All in all, it was not the chapels fault and of course i do not hold it against anyone. It was just a fluke that the minister must have forgotten our appointment, after all they are not hired by the chapel. Barbara went above and beyond to make it up to us. And for this, I thank her! I would have given 5 stars otherwise.
