  • After being served their coffee elsewhere throughout town (like the Coca Cafe) we stopped in for a bag of dark-roasted beans. Above a certain level of quality, I mostly can't taste subtle differences among various roasters, but this one does seem a little darker, fresher, more fragrant than the other stuff in my kitchen. Maybe it's an illusion, I don't know. But I don't much care. Worth a stop for lovers of dark coffee.
