Used to be one of our favorites, but something changed and they are really going downhill. The last few times we've been there, we've gotten pretty terrible service and even a little bit of attitude from the staff. Lately, the coffee tastes old and reheated, but I still consider myself lucky if I can get more than two refills during a slow brunch.
Today, after an hour they finally brought out our pancakes and they forgot the maple syrup. My wife went up to ask, and got a dirty look, like she was a nuisance for wanting syrup with our pancakes. That's when it finally dawned on me that I've been way too forgiving of this place for wasting everyone's time. It's time for Daisy's to close down and give that spot to someone who actually wants it.
