  • First time here at this dog park and I am happy to say that I'll be back! I always see this dog park while passing by on the freeway but never ventured out to explore it. I took my Siberian husky here and she had an awesome time! Pros: 1. Separated for small and large dogs - I love this because sometimes my dog won't get along with small dogs. It really annoying to see people bring their small dogs into the larger dog section. It's separated for a reason. 2. Trash bags are provided and some people brought grocery bags for others to use too - I feel that the bags that the park provides are way too big for such little poop. It makes me feel like I'm wasting the bag. I love how the trash cans are tilted up so that the dogs can't get to it. Definitely something different compared to California. There was no poop lying around so that means people take responsible for their dog's poops! 3. People here are nice, friendly, talkative, and are responsible for their own dogs - I really like that! The people here are super easy to talk to and they take responsibility when their dog is acting out (from what I witnessed tonight). Lots of people come here compared to the dog park in Maricopa. 4. Lots of benches, tables, and trees for shade - great for humans and dogs. 5. It's spacious! Great big space for dogs to run and explore! 6. The small dog section is a little bit further way from the big dog section. I really like that! The small dogs can do their own thing without getting distracted by the big dogs and vice versa. 7. Lots of parking! Cons: 1. The grass is dying but it's also super cold and icy out. This park recently survived from the flood couple weeks back. It's going to be awesome when the grass grows back! The dogs will love it! 2. Not too many water fountains around. I think I only saw 2 in the whole large dog section. 3. You have to drive around several loops before you get to the dog park. It's not convenient where it's just right there upon arrival. It also seems like there's one way in and one way out. I feel like that can be dangerous. More pros than cons!! I recommend this dog park to anyone! :)
