I came to this bank after the positive experience and customer service that was provided to me. I found my self in need of a notary on a Sunday, every bank in the area was closed and i was lucky to find MidFirst was open and very helpful with my needs. The gentleman that handled the notary did so at no charge. Even though i did not bank there. About a week later i received a hand written note Thanking me for coming in and letting me know if i ever needed a notary in the future Midfirst could help. I was so impressed that i went to my bank withdrew all the funds and drove to Midfirst and opened an account.
In the years that have past since we moved to Midfirst id say it's been mostly positive. Unfortunately it has recently become a place i no longer want to do business. I hate to make a rash judgement, so in the last few months ive made it a point to go in and handle my banking. Unfortunately for Midfirst this has been to their own detriment.
I don't know about you but when i make a withdrawal i don't feel the need to tell my banker what its for. If i go to my lock box i don't feel that the banker needs to know why. When i ask for a money order i don't think the banker needs to know who its for. When i go on vacation i don't think my card should be shut off for out of area purchases without notice or a way to contact a live person that works for the bank. I find it insulting that there is no way to reach anyone that works for midfirst outside of banking hours, even when they strand you in a foreign city with no way to access you available funds.
These are just a few reasons i will be moving my banking elsewhere. *important to note, i am not someone with lack of funds or financial issues. So the actions taken at this location are interesting to say the least.
Just my thoughts. Im sure others have had better experiences, but i hope this review is helpful to someone.
