| - This restaurant has had, for a long time, excellent food. Almost everything I've had here has been delicious and all of its accolades are well-deserved. I particularly recommend the moules frites (both the mussels and fries are expertly done, and all three of the mussel sauces are delicious), the carbonade flamande, and the steak frites. They usually have a very decent beer selection (particularly Belgians) but sometimes can be off, or out of the best beers they have on the menu.
The environment is cozy and bustling, and the service has usually been good in my visits. I have only one major gripe about this place, which is that it has a terrible space for the inevitable long wait that you'll often have to endure in order to be seated. This is a little bit less of an issue in the months when the outdoor seating is open and waiting outdoors or strolling around the neighborhood is an option, but it is seriously uncomfortable on a Saturday night to be crammed with a bunch of other patrons near the bar, trying to grab a drink while waiting for 45-60 minutes for a table.
I also really need to come try their brunch, because although dinner is always very solid, it seems like their brunch food is what knocks everyone's socks off! So maybe brunch is what will bump my stars up to 5... though they really don't need it! Everyone loves to eat here!
