  • I used to live in Orlando, and every year I would go to one of the spas at a Disney Resort on my birthday as a special treat. I worked for Disney at the time and received a discount. After moving to Charlotte, I decided to give Zen Massage a try. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and I was a little suspicious about the $39.95 per hour asking price. It was at least 1/2 the price that I was used to paying (with a discount!), so I figured there were extra hidden charges that I'd discover once I got there. NOPE! No membership (like some massage places in Charlotte)...and no additional cost (unless you want a different type of massage or to add aromatherapy). What a bargain! And the massage itself was everything I had hoped it would be. VERY relaxing, quiet music, comfortable setting. I felt no difference between the massage at Zen and the more expensive massages I've had. I highly recommend this as a special treat for both men and women. And not just for birthdays! You can't go wrong at the great prices offered! Each room in this old house in historic Dilworth is a different massage room...and you can even do couples massages in a bigger room if you want. You can't miss the big orange houses on East Blvd! It's best to make reservations for the appointments. And they take credit cards for payment...but don't forget to bring cash to tip your masseuse!
