  • Dining Experience: Dessert snack Specialty: Frozen Yogurt Menu items: Custom made Frozen Yogurt Proudly Canadian and expanding with new locations every month, Yogurty's has finally brought back the true meaning of Frozen Yogurt and the possibility of customizing one's "ice-cream" to the Toronto scene. With the concept of pricing the yogurt treat by its weight, my experience at Yogurty's started with an empty cup and a wall of exquisite frozen yogurt flavours staring at me... From your typical vanilla and chocolate flavours, to red velvet, Greek yogurt, root beer and even tiramisu, I could not help but rejoice at the thought of unlimited possibilities. But unlimited was just an understatement! If your flavour is chocolate, but you also like vanilla, or vice versa, no problem, you can use the "twist" handle in the middle and the flavours will get mixed for you before hitting your cup. Now that is what I call true customization. Next up! The toppings section...This is what I call the "break the bank" section. There are so many toppings to choose from, including a range of fruits; and they all look fresh and delicious, its hard to not go for all. Being very cautious I choose to add to my smooth vanilla and chocolate combination some brownie bits, cheesecake bits and strawberries. Moving on the line of unlimited options, I arrive at the 2nd topping section! My thoughts? Oh yeah! This is where one starts getting greedy. So let's call it, the "greedy" section. My choice? Sprinkles, peanuts, raisins and coconut flakes. There were over 10 others to choose from, but I had to pace myself. Finally, the trip ends with the saucing station. And in front of me I see non-other than my favourite brand...Ghirardelli! Caramel, Chocolate and Butter Scotch! This might just become heaven in a cup! Without much thought, I press on the Ghirardelli chocolate sauce and let it cover all my toppings until I know it has reached the bottom of my cup. Once satisfied, its time to open the wallet! To my surprise, the treat is quite affordable. For something I know costs double somewhere else, I end up paying a decent $4.85. This to me is just fantastic as it allows me to control how much I want to get and pay for. If I just want something sweet after a meal but feel full, I can go with less of everything and still feel satisfied. Convenient indeed! Buen Provecho, Viviana.
