  • This community centre is located very close to my home, which is why I frequent it quite often. If I had more options, this wouldn't be my first. The gym is small, older and can be crowded at certain times. That being said, I've never had trouble getting a bike or a bench when I want one. They run fitness classes as well, though I've never been to one. It appears that they are very popular. The pool is a good size and the lane swim is divided nicely with a big lane for slow and medium and smaller lanes for fast and very fast. This actually keeps people where they should be, which isn't always the case at other centers. My downgrade in stars is for two major reasons: the parking lot is tight and cramped. It is sometimes quite difficult to exit a spot if the lot is full. This can be very frustrating. The other reason: most of the staff are extremely rude. They always seem to have attitude and a look of disdain on their faces. I know they have to deal with a lot of people, some who may not be easy to deal with, but really - smile and move on with your life. The place itself gets a 4 star but until the customer service improves, I'm staying firmly at 3.
