  • I recently saw Sherry Montano here to go from a dark chocolate brown to blonde. I was nervous to make such a drastic change and she was honest about the process, price and affect on my hair - leaving the decision up to me and not pressuring me at all. I'd been wanting to go blonde for years and she finally made it happen, making me feel comfortable throughout the whole process (which took five hours but with her to keep me company the time flew by). We had a phone consult first, I texted her pictures of my brown locks and photos of the blonde I had in mind. We talked extensively again in person on the day of the appointment and then went ahead with the change. She did two rounds of highlights and the color came out exactly as we discussed. She is NOT the kind of stylist who cuts corners, texts or chats with other stylists or does what *she* wants. She even asked questions to make sure she fully understood how blonde I wanted to go. My main pic on Yelp is the day after I went blonde and you can see how dark I was before in my other picture on my profile. I've gone to about a half dozen stylists in this city since moving here seven years ago and she is the first one to answer my calls/texts in a reasonable time frame (24-48 hours), listen to what I have to say, talk to me while doing my hair (not others) AND do a great job. Her 25+ years of experience speaks for itself. I highly recommend her and will be seeing her again soon myself! Sherry was nothing short of professional and immaculate, her talent surpassing my expectations and the results being amazing.
